Grow the Rose!
We have one more installation we want to add to the programme at Lumiere Durham this year, but we need your help to build it. Local artist Mick Stephenson has plans to build a rose window for Durham Cathedral Cloisters, although this one will be a little different, made from thousands of plastic bottles. From as little as £2, you can add a bottle, or from £5 you can add a special ‘message in a bottle’ which Mick will add to the installation, proceeds raise will be shared between two worthy causes: My Shelter Foundation and Durham Cathedral.
As part of Lumiere Durham, The Brick Box have been working with groups across the county, bringing people together to share stories and express themselves creatively.
