Garden of LightTILT (France)
Reaching up to the sky, giant illuminated plants brought a taste of the tropics to wintry January.
TILT is a French collective that reclaim public space for their art. They created luminous, dreamlike structures using recycled materials processed to high technical production quality. Founders François Fouilhé and Jean-Baptiste Laude started the collective to give prominence to light art and to encourage audiences to view it from a new perspective. Lumiere London audiences enjoyed this magical collection of plant sculptures, the glow of giant flowers and trees full of multi-coloured leaves keeping them warm.
During Lumiere London, visitors were invited to take the perfect picture at the Land Rover Private View of this festival installation.
Garden of Light was also part of the Lumiere Durham 2015 programme.
