LUMIERE DURHAM 2009
Starry Night was installed on rooftops across the city, adding to Durham’s familiar dramatic landscape.
French Company Air Vag create large installations using PVC. By day they adorn parks and streets with colourful sculptures, but as night falls, these beautiful objects begin to glow and sway, transforming spaces into something magical.
Air Vag have produced installations across the world in Sydney, Manchester, Rome and their native France. Another installation by Air Vag, Symphonie Conique, was also part of the Lumiere Derry~Londonderry programme in 2013.
