Lumiere Durham, 16th - 19th November 2017
Back in Durham for the fifth time, artists from around the world will illuminate the city in delightful and unexpected ways, with a series of light installations to explore.
Produced by leading arts charity Artichoke and commissioned by Durham County Council, Lumiere Durham 2017 is almost here. Stay tuned for programme announcements and information on how you can get involved.

A free ticketing system will be in operation during peak times between 4.30pm and 7.30pm for the city centre peninsula area only. There will be a limited number of free tickets available for each night of the festival.
TICKETS (4:30pm – 7:30pm)
Tickets will be available from Tuesday 17th October at 10.00am online and in person. Numbers will be limited to 6 festival tickets per household during the event (not 6 per night).
From October 17th up to 6 free tickets per household (subject to availability) may be collected in person at no charge from the following Durham County Council venues.

- Consett Library
- Seaham Library
- Peterlee Library
- Spennymoor Leisure Centre
- Crook Library
- Bishop Auckland Town Hall
- Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre
- Barnard Castle Library
- Gala Theatre, Durham *queues are likely

From October 17th at 10.00am tickets can also be booked in advance online on this website (maximum 6 per household across the event – not per night) and will be delivered by post. Transaction and postage fees apply for online bookings. £2 per transaction and £1 postage.
You will not need a ticket for any area after 7.30pm but you may still need to queue.
