If you’re aged 4-11 years and live in the North East of England, your design could become the official Lumiere Durham washing machine and be seen by thousands of people at this year’s festival in November 2015.

Download the competition pack then print it out and draw, paint, colour or crayon your ideas onto the blank washing machine picture.

The festival’s Family Partner Ebac will cover a real washing machine with the winning entry and everyone who comes to Lumiere Durham will be able to see it at the Visitors’ Hub.

When the festival is finished, the winner’s family can also take home the washing machine to keep.

Your design might be inspired by your favourite installation, a memory from a previous festival, what you’re looking forward to about the next one – or just something that reminds you of Lumiere. It’s up to you!

Send your entry by post to Competitions, Artichoke, Toynbee Studios, 28 Commercial Studios, London E1 6AB.
