Pass through a spiritual gateway

Conduit is a luminous archway that serves as both a physical and metaphorical passage. Futuristic yet ancient, the archway feels like a relic without a date. Approached with intention, Conduit argues that the act of stepping through a doorway becomes a ritual in itself.

Drawing inspiration from the ancient threshold markers and spiritual gateways that exist across cultures, artist Mani Kambo has adorned the arch with her signature totemic symbols. Since the Stone Age, we have used images to record tales, histories and predictions for the future. Sacred symbols and objects guide and connect us with those who have been, are here and will be. We expand and shrink back through cycles of birth, life and death, tethered together as part of a larger cosmos. Experience a moment of transition and connection as you pass through this portal.

“I hope audiences enjoy walking through the archway and have a sense of wonder while looking at the sculptural artwork, making up their own stories for what the symbols mean.” – Mani Kambo
