LOVE IS: based on a true story
LOVE IS makes a playful observation based on a true story. Thirty-four years ago on his first day working at Durham County Council, artist Kevin Edworthy met the woman who would become his wife. Informed by his practice of street photography, his work reflects his life story and the observations he makes while standing on street corners, capturing the people, places and everyday life of Durham. LOVE IS reminds us that everything starts somewhere and the universe can have a strange and unexpected sense of humour.
