LUMIERE DURHAM 2017
Our Moon looked, smiled, blinked, twitched and frowned, observing the city and its people.
Using motion capture techniques similar to a Hollywood Blockbuster, 80 Durham residents’ unique facial expressions were digitally captured and transferred over to drive the drawn animation of Our Moon.
4 Moons were created from the residents of Durham; childhood, youth, maturity, wisdom.
Each evening of Lumiere Durham 2017 a different moon watched over the city and its people.
