LUMIERE DURHAM 2017
An engaging visual response to the endless but familiar depths of Durham Cathedral.
Visual Illusion challenged our spatial awareness and was based on a series of patterns found in and around the Cathedral.
Amy Welch’s work brought a contemporary context to this monumental building.
Visual Illusion was commissioned as part of the Lumiere Durham 2017 BRILLIANT competition for anyone based in or originally from the North East with a bright idea for an installation.
